Harley came to join the Brighthaven family in November 2002 when sorely in danger of becoming pork chops!!
Harley is well-loved by staff, volunteers and visitors due to his sunny personality and sense of humor. He has his challenges, with his weight being around 900 lbs. and having to balance his huge body on tiny legs and feet, however he responds very well to natural healing techniques and has enjoyed many hands-on sessions.
Harley's main caretaker and best friend is Fray who has been lovingly caring for him for many years. Who else would julienne his fruit and veggies for him and tuck him in at night...
This smart and funny guy is probably one of the happiest creatures we have had the pleasure to care for!
