Nicholas came to us on the 7th September to enjoy the last 12 short days of his life. This handsome, sweet and gentle old man quickly won everyone’s hearts as they spent time in his loving and kind presence.
A once huge old man now emaciated and at the end of his life, Nicholas simply exuded love and gratitude to all of us for helping and ministering to his every need.
Despite many advanced health problems related to his heart, diaphragmatic hernia, stomatitis and a facial tumor, Nicholas showed only the desire to be loved and to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the BrightHaven gardens, along with some great meals served with love and from a finger most often!
He will be sorely missed.
